Outstanding Catalyst Award for Business Impact Won!

TM Forum, the global industry association that drives digital transformation, announced that the Partnering Platform for MEF services won the prestigious Catalyst Award for outstanding Business Impact at TM Forum Live! Asia.

The catalyst project was co-championed by Telstra, Vodafone, Orange and Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) and built and showcased by a project team led by DGIT Systems and Ciena Blue Planet.

This catalyst takes the combined key industry thinking in marketplace integration and virtual network management from the TM Forum and shows elements of the Zoon HIP Architecture, MEF service definitions and the use of TM Forum APIs for the Sonata and Legato use cases of the MEF Lifecycle Service Orchestration Architecture. The demonstration specifically showed :

  • How to rapidly construct a new product offering based on a new network service and within minutes being able to sell that offering on the marketplace.
  • Seamless coordination of off-net service orders with other Communications Services Providers.

This Catalyst is an extension of the project presented last May in Nice where the demonstration illustrated how the LSO Sonata Ordering API can be combined with automated processes to order carrier Ethernet services from wholesale network operators.

Telflow, the configurable order manager solution powered by DGIT Systems, was used in both award-winning catalysts to create a self-service ordering portal providing its cutting-edge technology to ensure an excellent customer experience. DGIT Systems is constantly committed to innovate and foster interoperability capabilities, thus facilitating partnering, offering innovative new digital services to market more rapidly and creating exceptional business impacts.
